McIntosh City Park:
218-563-3043 Camping, dump station, electrical hook-ups,
cable TV, flush toilets, showers, handicapped accessible.
Picnic area, ball field, volleyball, and playground.
There is a restaurant located up town. Groceries are
available uptown or at the gas station which is open on
weekends and evenings. Fishing and ice fishing
available at Hill River Lake 5 mi. NW of McIntosh.
Summer Recreation
The summer recreation program begins
approximately the first week of June, and runs for eight weeks.

Games are as follows:
Kloster Park is played every Wednesday, this is
a pitching machine league and includes participants from surrounding
communities. Players will be drafted on teams and play a 5 week
regular season, concluding with the World Series the end of July.
There are 2 age groups for boys and girls, 9-11 and 12-14.

There are several campgrounds in the
surrounding area. They include Farmer's Union
Campground, Lake Cameron RV Park and Campground, Union Lake

Our snowmobile club is "Polar Beach Snowmobile Club
sponsors and maintains the following trails: Nicholas
trail to Brooks, Whitetail trail to Winger and Sleepy Hollow
trail to Trail.

Area Recreation
Fertile Sand Hills Recreation
Area: Located one mile east of Fertile. Ten
miles of hiking and cross country ski trails along the Sand
Hill River and through the Fertile Sand Hills. Trail
maps available at the Fertile Community Center and on-site.
Chicog Wildlife Management Area:

example of some of Minnesota's remaining mesic prairie.
Winter opportunities include exploration by snowshoe and
cross country skiing. Spring and fall brings migrating
cranes. Location is 11 miles SE of Crookston on MN Hwy
102 to Melvin then 1 mile S on township road.
